NICU quilts

Here are some more NICU quilts that I made mainly from scraps. I like the size of these (27"), and that they are going to somewhere that they are truly needed.

Dear quiltfriend,

My sister is, after an exiting period, finaly pregnant of her first baby.
Now I would like to make a bright-colored quilt for her and her baby
of patches from all over the world.
I try to collect patches of 12x12 cm (5x5 inch).
Do you have a piece of fabric that may be suitable, I would really like to use it!

Many thanks and warm greetings,

I love crafting. I also love the idea of the NICU quilts. My twins were a little over a month early and I have the fleece blankets that the used in the hospital. They also ended up in the NICU at CHildren's Boston after they had been home and had little dolls from their stay there. I think these quilts will mean so much to the parent's of any NICU babies!

Hi I couldn't reply to your question, so thought I'd just comment here! for your information, Stitch on Colombo Street is great for quilting fabrics and Fabric Vision on Papanui Road is great for both.
